Laura Scott brings more than 20 years of award-winning design and communications experience to a wide range of design disciplines: identity, branding systems, print, packaging, and environmental graphics.
In 2009, Laura founded Studio Scott on the belief that great design comes from great ideasand great collaboration. Her clients range from start-ups and small family businesses to Fortune 500 companies and educational and cultural institutions. Prior to opening Studio Scott, Laura was an associate in Pentagrams San Francisco office for 10 years and freelanced for numerous design firms in San Francisco. She has taught through Studio 5AIGAs education outreach program for inner city fifth gradersand has been a guest instructor at the Academy of Art University. Before becoming a graphic designer, Laura served as communications director and congressional liaison for a non-profit education association in Washington, DC. She is currently serving as education co-chair on the board of AIGA San Francisco. Laura received her BA in English and Art History from Colby College in the great state of Maine and her MFA in Graphic Design with valedictorian distinction from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. |
